All Johnstown area civic groups, churches, and individual citizens are invited to participate in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the incorporation of Johnstown as a village in central Ohio. The Bicentennial Committee wants the celebration to be as inclusive as possible to promote civic awareness and community cooperation in Johnstown, not only for the bicentennial celebration, but afterwards as well. If you or your organization would like to participate in the planning and execution of celebratory events, please contact a member of the Bicentennial Committee or Terry Priest @ 740-967-8721.
The countdown toward 2013 has begun. Let’s make the Johnstown Bicentennial as memorable as the 1913 and 1963 celebrations.
